Almost 2 years since I moved to London. Time is running fast and I can say that I am a bit tired of this city. At first, I found it so amazing and intriguing, but now I can say "well, what else is new".
The fact that I see a lot of foreigners does not surprise me anymore and is quite common here. No wonder London is the most international city...I would say, too international.
Things I face everyday just make me say that. It's not only about people, but about services, too. Almost everyday, definitely every week there are disrupted train services. What is more, the ticket prices are going up. So disruption is like an "extra service" we pay for. I am not even going to discuss that London has the highest transport costs in Europe. It's pretty irritating, because all the time I cannot get to the destination on time, and I pay even more than before.
Anyways, all this I am used to and ,hopefully, I will move away from London to another city which is further away. Much further. In fact, I have been outside London, and I can say, it's fantastic! Most of the people are british and the area is very nice. Traditional, quiet, cleaner, and a bigger space. That's the place where I would live. But that's later. Education is in London, of course. Even though Liverpool, Bath, Oxford, Bristol, and many other cities are considered to be good educational centres, but my university choices are all in London (which I regret a bit).
Busy and chaotic, that's what life in London is like. Happens to me that sometimes I dont have time to sleep, believe it or not, but it does happen. Do that, do this, go there, complete one thing, finish another and so on. Fortunately, spring is coming and I have great inspiration to paint, draw, whatever is relevant...Series of new photographs are also upcoming...
Well, that was my little confession, if u like. Now, again, going to make myself busy. But actually, I enjoy it, because life would be boring...
